HAPPY NEW YEAR! BEGIN AGAIN!
At the core of our resilience and strength in professional or personal practices is the capacity to begin again, to find our center, and to refresh our commitment. Each one of us knows the experience of drifting away from disciplines and feeling out of sync with grounding routines and rituals. Coming back to our center, giving ourselves the grace to begin again and recalibrate does not need to be riddled with shame or feel begrudged. It is a natural part of our cycles in life. It is an opportunity and it keeps us fresh.
Just as each of our wellness journeys is individual to each of us, our recalibration is unique as well. Some will return to a regular exercise routine, some will get back to healthy sleep habits, and some will tighten up healthy eating habits. We can call these New Year’s Resolutions, or we can simply gather ourselves up and start again.
TeachWell continues to be your partner on this path of well-being, helping you re-orient and find support to maintain your social-emotional well-being. As an organization, our focus moving into 2025 is to find ways to support individual agency and personal choice in one’s wellness. While we maintain our commitment to institutional wellness, we are putting explicit effort into support for individual teachers (or groups of teachers) who CHOOSE to focus on well-being as a way to strengthen their teaching practice.
We are excited to announce the publication of the TEACHWELL WORKBOOK to support individual wellness and communities of care. Our workbook is designed for individual use and small groups. The subscription to our workbook includes online support or coaching and the option to join an online peer support and learning group. Contact anne@teachwell.net to learn more about the workbook.
Whatever it is that you choose and wherever you are in your wellness journey, TeachWell understands with compassion the ebbs and flows of your disciplines and practices, believes in you and your resilience, deeply values your work, and sends you a blessing for your wellbeing as you enter this new year.
May you be safe and strong in mind, body, and spirit.
May you feel a sense of care and belonging.
May you feel joy and inspiration.
May you feel balanced between effort and ease.
May you feel peace at the center of your being.
